The new discord id policy is going to kill pretty much every support group chat that is hosted there. “Hello vulnerable person, you’re new here, aren’t you? We have a sort of unofficial group chat on Discord. Just upload your photo id…”

@starr@ruby.social I wish no extra burden on anyone, especially vulnerable people, but I hope some platforms will reconsider if Discord is the best support / community option for them and I’m all for that.
