@bluegreenandfree@mastodon.energy Immich isn't E2E encrypted, but when you control your own data then that eliminates the biggest attack vectors. I use Tailscale to take my home network with me when I'm out of the house, that way I don't have to set up port forwarding or DNS records and thus exposing it to the internet. In all it was pretty easy to set up, if you're handy with a computer and can follow instructions.
