I hate the time travel trope in fiction. It doesn't work. If time travel were possible at all in our universe, someone eventually in the future would discover it. If someone or something smart enough does(and they'd probably were smart if they'd discovered time travel), they'd put in place a system to prevent abuse of time travel, by either negating it or perhaps trapping less advanced travelers. Effectively making it impossible again.
