One of the interesting things about the era in which I grew up is that parents hesitated to allow their children to be ascribed with "labels" especially in school because they didn't want others to define their children by them nor did they want their children to define themselves by such. Whereas today it seems that many embrace such clasifications and categorizations as though they're badges of honor or the whole of their identity. #RamdomMusing
