@rightsprung@c.im @adwright@mastodon.social The US has discovered this before, of course - it keeps losing wars for this very reason - and is according to its own military officials overstretched and running short on munitions due to the ongoing misadventure in Iran.
It simply doesn't have capacity to start new concurrent wars right now; it's just the usual Trumpian bluff and bluster. 🤷🏻♂️

You recall how their national resources go straight to Trump. Hegseth no doubt saying we are sitting ducks, The whole job would take a day, be over before anyone can react, a done deal like Venezuela was. Quick win, big prizes. I'm sure Vance's Conservative buddy will happily play the compliant local talent rubber stamping stuff.
