As the #SamNeill tributes and compliments flood in - each one deserved - two things stand out. One is that Mr.Neill was warmly loved as someone generous & down-to-earth. The other is that he aged wonderfully. Always a handsome man, he let the grey hairs appear and he wore them so well. I look old. He looked distinguished and his demeanour only added to that dashing charm. He looked smarter with every passing day. The world has lost one of its good guys today; one of its decent human beings.
