So I'm just gonna say. I feel better. I look better. And I've lost a noticeable amount of weight. I need to lose more, and I will. I don't need to know the number, because the number doesn't matter. I know what I wanna look like. I've looked like that before.
And if you're in the same place as me? Consider chucking the scale out the nearest door. It's a data point, and I'd make the argument it's not even a significant data point.

@cyberpunklibrarian@masto.hackers.town also: weight is a crap metric. Muscle density completely screws up what people think different weights look like. If you absolutely must measure “progress” in a method more quantifiable than “I feel better”, I suggest you use a tape measure around the waist.
