In my serialized memoir (at https://stevewetherill.substack.com) I have used a mixture of real and AI generated images to try and set the scene and tell my story. I chose to do this mostly because I don’t have photos for every anecdote and incident, which let’s face it, go back up to 63 years at this point. Generally I’ve called them out as such when they are used within the body of each chapter. So here’s a poll, what are people’s opinions on use of AI images?

@stevewetherill Something else: I don't mind the technical process, as long as the placement, quality, and spirit match the text, making it evident that its conception is necessarily originated in your human mind, and techne was only a means and a tool for your unique personal expression. When that's the case, crediting a machine is completely unnecessary.
