Going to use the hour long drive down to my mom’s house to psyche myself out for the never ending list of insults neatly wrapped within a pseudo compliment.

@Saltssaltgirl@mas.to I have found that “thank you, I will give that opinion the attention it deserves” followed by silence or a subject change effective. If not a befuddled look and a “I am sorry I missed that, my mind was somewhere else could you repeat it?” usually works. Been dealing with that sort of razor in the apple slice garbage for 68 years.
