Since a few days, our moderation team is litterally spammed with many generic trending hashtags to review. These are created by several accounts hosted on mastodon.hongkongers.net which create posts with many generic hashtags which are published several times, resulting in those hashtags all appearing in trends. This is considered abusive, weighing on the efforts of our moderation team to review, and diluting the trending hashtags in too big a list, which becomes irrelevant. Therefore, our instance shall silence mastodon.hongkongers.net to avoid this hashtag abuse.
