@realsimon@mastodon.green @Mastodon@mastodon.social the fediverse belongs to everyone*, not just the first movers. We should embrace people escaping the walled gardens, as we have, in a more compassionate way, and not expect the fediverse to be a "niche". Privacy, Safety and Sovereignty are not "niche", or they shouldn't be. Let's do better. * - everyone who can abide by the community standards we set, by no means do I want to encourage the bad ones, most people just want to keep in touch with friends/family. Better here
