The moment you talk with someone not working on tech, it becomes pretty clear how low tech fluency is.
Which is one of many many reasons we need more tech policy advisors to protect people from companies taking advantage of citizens lack of fluency

Tech companies and grifters like to make everyone else feel like they’re not “technical enough” Thing is, you don’t have to know everything about technology to know if it’s harming or helping you. What we do need is real tech advocates informing government to protect people from tech harms.
