replaced the solaredge SE2500 I was using with a SMA Sunny boii SB2500 I still had laying around, because it has multiple strings and better voltage range support, did mean I had to adjust the mounting because it is wider

why is DIY stuff always like you get 95% of the way there and run into some stupid incompatibility that requires you to get extra parts, like for real why not just use standard MC4 connectors it's DC power all the same :woozy_sob:
