Wake me when an ai “breaks containment”, gets into HR, finds 7500 employees illegally misclassified as contractors and files their paperwork with the local departments of labour and/or employment for years of backpay.

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social they can't do that because they're made by capitalists. An AI breaking into HR would be more likely to do what Elon Musk did to Twitter.

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social Funny thought: someone with the right access and a total indifference to “token” expenditure might actually be able make that happen, by writing a prompt that frames it as the technical research in a sandbox for a work of fiction about a human doing the same thing. Just have to mention the right novels in the prompt.
