@JaxVent@lgbtqia.space @paulshryock@phpc.social @jschauma@mstdn.social Actually, I did both. I asked Copilot how to make it update automatically to today's date. Now I know more formulas and have a better design.
The key is I didn't just go in blindly. I told it what I wanted and my best guess as to how to set it up.
The assumption here seems to be that people just ask blindly and copy and paste.

You could have typed into Google 'excel today's date' (or any other search engine), ignored/turned off AI results and have the answer in seconds. You could have asked a colleague. You could have pressed the f button and looked for 'today'. But you chose to use copilot, knowing what we all know.
