I haven't played in a long time and don't have a save I can easily check now so I am not sure about the right terms either. But my suggestion would be to start off with some combat-related talents.
Just choose what kind of combat you want to focus early on, like if you want to shoot guns or go melee then pick the related ones. There will be a lot of combat early on and this will help you survive.

@hellcatbanshee.bsky.social Once you have a better idea on how the gameplay works and what you want to do you can diversify more. I *think* there is a way to reset the talent tree too but I don't remember for sure. Later on there will also be some good cybernetics you can buy that you will open more options for how to tackle problems too.
