@sodiboo@gaysex.cloud Does that mean load times actually increased? Or that average load time increased because of a large number of new users who were now loading it usably slow rather than just abandoning it because it was unusably slow, who are now dragging up the average load time?
The way it's stated it sounds like it implies the former but I'm pretty sure it's actually the latter.

@dalias@hachyderm.io Yeah. I took it that the article is perhaps missing the word "average, for all users" at some point. They decreased the load times for a given situation, but as a consequence, the situations that the product was used in changed enough that real-world load times increased, on average, for all users, which was noteworthy because this is the exact metric they were hoping to decrease.
