@jess@blop.social The trick I saw from Big Clive is to 3D-print letters and then run LED tape through it. ISTR he even published some OpenSCAD programs where you just feed in the text and other parameters and out pops an STL.

    @pndc@social.treehouse.systems The translucent 3d printing doesn't look great tbh, I did have that thought. Also I'm after as neon a look as possible. (Can't use real neon, it'd get smashed on the road. Front fascia board probably gets most hammer out of the whole rig, so susceptible to shattering on 3d letter too.)
