I hate my manager's new obsession with having daily lists of tasks. No, stop it. I do whatever needs doing in whatever order I feel like. It's all part of the wider group we joined last year being obsessed with KPIs and the such like, and frankly I am not here for that. At the end of the day, we're IT in a small school, not a fucking massive business. My priority is ensuring that teachers and students feel supported with their IT requirements and that they can come to me for help. Everything else is pointless, and KPIs completely ignore all of that, as far as I'm concerned.
