Wow, my post from a couple of days ago seems relevant again.
A petition aimed at influencing the UK government, which isn’t using their petitions mechanism, run by a UK-based limited company that has a privacy policy that allows them to combine your data with other sources, and which thinks a ZIP code is a sensible thing to ask for when the only audience of the petition should be folks governed by the Westminster Parliament.
Do they want to effect change, or do they just want to harvest data about left-leaning folks to sell to political causes? Nothing on the site makes me think it’s the former.
