@TalktoBeverley@mas.to Yes, it is terrifying. I barely knew anyone there, and I was a guest, so I wasn't in a position to put up an argument. If I had been, I'd have pointed out that the Hard Right doesn't respect women and, being too old to be serve as a brood mare, she'd become a second-class citizen in her own country; her white privilege wouldn't save her. You only have to look at what's happening in the US. How anyone who is a woman or who loves a woman could vote for that is beyond me. @MargaretSefton@writing.exchange
