@TalktoBeverley@mas.to @CppGuy@infosec.space I was watching the news about Thetford (an hours drive from where I am), and a few weeks back was right in the middle of the village I work in swarmed over with armed police and MetPol CTP (counter terrorism protection) because folk had attempted to attack a Muslim social event in the region. As a brown person living in East Anglia I was wondering just how many of those folk rioting at Thetford were the same I was partying with at raves in the nearby forest, just 19 years ago - and who can I trust these days? (Clacton isn't exactly far from here either). These days I stay in the multicultural areas and avoid the smaller towns and some coastal places (Felixstowe is to be fair OK)
