@cliffle@hachyderm.io we should definitely keep in touch. The ledger format is kinda like markdown for accounting, the command line tool is just the parser, using different types of commands to make sense of your accounting/spending. Ledger doesn't have first class support for dealing with CSV/XLS/PDF/QDF files, so indeed it does not meet your requirements. For my software I do plan to add a way to import data from those formats into a ledger file. But I am not sure if there is a generic way to do this. But I am sure your code will be handy 😀
