OpenAI and Anthropic spend so much on hyping up LLMs and inflating the prices, if DeepSeek where to start seeking funding from western and gulf investors it will absolutely crush OpenAI and Anthropic.

Programming is largely an exercise in managing complexity. Tightly packing and folding everything together, tying up the loose ends whilst developing a mind map of the project. With AI you loose allot of the prescition to manage this complexity.

I'm still optimistic of technology, In it's ability to empower people. In particular I believe that the internet gives us magical abilities. We can harness this magic to liberate ourselves from all kinds of isms. The limit is our imagination.
