"too complicated" say critics about movie whose entire script is structured around a denialist character who has the literal plot of the movie explicitly explained to him multiple times
One wonders what else those critics struggle with understanding.

Siskel and Ebert did criticize the movie for relying on jump scares and they were right to do so honestly I think even those jump scares would work a lot better as-is if you just removed the cheap orchestral sting even the Master of Horror misses a beat now and again. it's about the vision, man. #Monsterdon
