I don't know how many people the #Disney / #Hulu thing affects... most people are probably already on a monthly plan (which is what the company wants).
The point is that they offered us a deal and then, without telling us (no emails, etc.), just took it away and charged us more (the yearly subscription was not set to renew for months).
I told them their actions were deceptive (unfair) business practices.

/3 After jacking up prices, Disney+ and Netflix consider offering free alternatives ~ Reaching "price-sensitive” customers with a free streaming service would generate more ad revenue and might drive up subscription sign-ups (as subscription numbers plateau). Bleh. Well, #Disney+ (and #Hulu) lost at least one customer yesterday.
