@jackbrewster@hachyderm.io Yeah, these are the first line powered smoke detector I’ve seen with AA batteries as back up. I didn’t know these existed until I pulled them down and got a good look.

@jackbrewster@hachyderm.io Although it was only one of the four that went off, and there’s a button that repeats the reason for the last alarm. It says it detected a fire, not a low battery. Poor air quality, maybe? It’s pretty smoky today.
