@susankayequinn@wandering.shop it’s true. I have no denialists in my life (thankfully) but most people I know and care about...don’t seem to really -get- that we are well into the process of -tipping- into something not good. I think one other person I’m close to really gets it and that’s because they live in an area where they have had to evacuate for wildfires -multiple times- in the past few years.
…it seems that most people I know still get their info mostly from corp/mainstream media

@CJPaloma@mstdn.social I've seen people live through *major disasters* and then just normalize that out and return to what their baseline assumptions were...on average, it seems like it take at least THREE major climate-connected disruptions before the average normie is gonna start questioning things. Unfortunately, we're getting there.
