The above post was inspired by this video about how the UK once (almost) solved its housing problem¹ and how the country screwed itself, when the Conservatives turned homes from places to live into assets and investments. Whilst the rise of fascism seem to be the most urgent problem in Western societies, the underlying, more severe issue, are conservatives and "moderates" believing in neoliberal/capitalist values.
