@ChaplinTokyo@social.vivaldi.net You might want to consider Robertson style screws for wood projects. Quite common in the USA/Canada. Invented by a Canadian a long time ago who didn't want to pay patent royalties for the Phillips head design. Commonly used in wood projects for a few reasons- screws used in wood tend to be long and require a lot of twisting. The square shape of a Robertson head is a simple strong shape that is not as prone to skipping as a Phillips.
