Because of the naked woman's contortion, I thought she was disabled, so I took her down the stairs to put her to bed. Her bed looked more like a doctor's examination table, and she resisted when I tried to gently place her on it. She stood up on her own, and pushed me onto a couch. She straddled herself on top of me, and started kissing my face, saying things like "Shhh... it's okay... you don't have to take care of me, I'm here to take care of you..." This wasn't an innuendo, it didn't even occur to me at the time that it could be taken that way. It was far more disturbing than sexy, especially when she called me Homer, after I called her Lisa. We weren't the Simpsons, but still, yikes. I realised I was asleep, and I wanted to wake up. So I woke up, and I knew I was awake, because I hadn't been wearing my CPAP mask in my dream. The sheets were tangled around my arms and legs, and I was having trouble getting my mask off. 3/11

I saw the teddy bear in the chair at the desk on the other side of the room, and its arms and legs began undulating like wind dancers, while its head and body remained still. That was too much for me, and I completely lost my shit and just started screaming. My daughter reached up from the side of the bed and started shaking my arm. Then I woke up for real, and it was my wife shaking my arm, because I was actually screaming, although it was more of a weak, falsetto scream. I told her I was having a nightmare, and her response was something along the lines of "no kidding." She offered me a hug, but what I wanted was space, so I got out of bed and sat in a chair, trying to shake all the images out of my head. I was exhausted, but short of breath, so I went downstairs to take my inhaler. I sat on the couch in the living room, but I could feel my head nodding, and a new dream starting while I was still awake. 4/11
