When I was little, my Mom told me I could stop a nightmare from coming back by flipping over my pillow. She later revealed that she had completely made that up on the spot, but I've been doing it so long, it's never not worked. So I flipped my pillow over and put my CPAP mask back on, but it still took me a bit of time to fall asleep. A completely different dream began, this time a high tech cyberpunk thriller in a city so developed, it was hard to tell what was indoor, and what was outdoor. Still every bit as real, vivid, intense, and stressful as the dream before. Megacorporations were so obsessed with advertising and propaganda, that all traffic had been changed to sliding sidewalks and escalators, all of which were video screens, and everyone was legally required to sync the sliding sidewalks with their phones. Everyone's commute had become standing still, their entire field of view filled with ads scrolling past. 5/11
