Years ago, before mobile phones and such, I was at a national conference for a sports organization. We were in BC.
We were sitting in a hotel room, having a brew or two. Turned on the TV and there was a story about a moose in a home pool in Newfoundland. Hey, my friend said, that looks like my pool.
He phoned home next day. His partner said she didn't want to bother him. They drained the pool and it got out ok.
