Failed batch was cooked before drying, and is currently in the electric smoker to drive off the moisture, coated in salt until it looks white, but my suspicion is that it’ll come out too soft to be anything but a dough bait, and maybe not even then.

Remember kids, it’s always ok to quit before the horrors you’ve wrought are indelibly etched into your psyche. Not for me though.
