@shonin@c.im The problem with this is that sailing ships simply do not scale to modern commerce. The largest sailing vessels ever built during the Age of Sail are minuscule compared to modern container ships. The amount of pollution per ton-mile of goods shipped with modern container ships is very, very small, because of their immense capacity.
