#Codeberg voted to frown upon / sneer at / actually turn away projects maintained with LLMs: [[Protecting our FLOSS commons from LLMs]]: https://blog.codeberg.org/protecting-our-floss-commons-from-llms.html Some of the arguments having to do with e.g. forge usage disproportionate to user count make total sense to me, given limited resources. Some don't, e.g. these projects are being told to go away: - Projects written and maintained with heavy use of LLMs - Projects heavily tied to the LLM ecosytem, e.g. LLM-written tools to ease LLM usage Sounds like an over-reaching, authoritarian policy to me; I can currently no longer recommend Codeberg, which pains me given the otherwise great work they're doing in developing and provisioning [[Forgejo]] as an alternative to corporate forges.
