well, I wonder if those of us using assistive technology will screw up their tracking metrics. I never use a mouse, and do not at all follow the screen patterns of a typical user. I don't do anything on my work computer that I wouldn't want monitored because I know a lot of things are logged, emails are kept for 7 years due to a regulatory requirement ETC. They don't say which of us they will track. IF this becomes an issue, will be happy to push back. We all already have this software installed. I have seen it update. will see but this could have some interesting implications.

more questions. If I attend a teams meeting on my phone which I often do, will that be tracked as idle time? Will I get reports on the metrics of people who report to me? Will those be accessible? I bet not. many more questions. I guess we will see what develops as time goes forward. I don't like the idea because as a manager I like to operate under the presumption that my people are competant adults and unless you are not getting your work done, we do not have a problem. However, this decision is being made way above my pay grade. Let's see what comes out.
