The "main boss" of this poll is github! So #gmail and #github are the 2 toughest accounts to ever close. Interesting.

@d1@autistics.life It is interesting, but probably inevitable. Gmail is pushed in people's faces at every turn and is (I believe) needed for an Android phone. It even rhymes with email and has become completely absorbed into the culture - like calling a vacuum cleaner a Hoover. And Github is pretty much the only account that's still essential for work (for some of us). It's needed by devs, not necessarily to host their own code (we have Codeberg for that now!) but to submit and discuss bugs in other libraries. Often it's the only feedback route offered so we can't really drop it.
