My wife is watching the Netflix show "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and it's getting me PTSD as I'm remembering going through the book a few years ago. There are just way too many characters named the same and it was so confusing I had to write down the family tree on a sheet of paper to follow. People say it's a masterpiece but for me it was a painful experience.

@lrz@ohai.social yeah, it’s remarkable, especially taking into consideration that it’s a relatively short book.
