I'm happy to hear people paying attention, yet I have to point out this is all over a decade old already.
Used to give talks and interviews about BlueTOAD and multi-sensor fingerprint. Broadcast harvest has been municipal infrastructure since roughly 2010. By September 2016 there were reports of police abusing the databases.

@flyingpenguin@infosec.exchange as long as the NSA, CIA and Pentagon parking lot is constantly pinging out the serials from the cars tire pressure sensors, it's even playing ground.
