App Store review delays are back to Shoemaker-era levels. Most app reviews seem to be taking 6+ days now — a momentum-crushing delay for a process that has reliably taken 1–3 days for the last 10 years. And this has NOT been a gradual increase since the rise of AI coding across the whole year — it came on suddenly, starting around a month ago. Something over there is on fire, badly neglected, or deeply broken. (Probably all three.) Something has to give. This is unsustainable.
