By way of background, I've never liked the taste of alcohol and I don't smoke. Driving to a dental appointment three hours ago, I saw a sign on a local shop which said: "High quality cannabis coming soon!" As the owner of a small business, the message made me wonder if the shop currently only has low quality cannabis available. Didn't strike me as good advertising but what do I know? Ten minutes later I reached the dentist's office and noticed that what had been for years a small local paint store across the street--The Paint Pot--was now selling just pot. I didn't notice the sign but if it were my business I would have been sorely tempted to paint Xs through "The" and "Paint" and keep the old sign. Portland, Maine is going to pot.
