No I was the asshole. I just wanted to be left alone and an advertisement approached me and did not read me. That’s fine, I’m a weird read, but I feel like this was more opening-the-ark-of-the-covenant than I-expected-a-pamphlet. At the end of the day, they are just doing their jobs and I really do feel offended by any goddamn form of advertisement in my life but implying a woman is a whore is totally different than implying a gay man is a whore. The contexts don’t align. So I lashed out at an ad. And it was a person. And I feel awful.
