Wait... folk don't like board games?? 😨
I haven't been this upset since I found out I'm the only one that likes Monopoly.

@thejessiekirk@ohai.social We tried Monopoly a handful of times over the decades, but we've always had a bad time with it 😔 We later found out the origins of the game ("The Landlord's Game"), and it made us actively not want to try Monopoly again. Sorry 😣 We enjoy some board games, but if they're complex, we struggle to learn, as our focus and ability to concentrate on one thing (unless hyperfocussing and/or hyperfixating) have been diminished greatly... as have our social battery and tolerance over overstimulation 😮💨🤦♀️
