@mlawton@mstdn.social wasn't that good? I think she's starting to run out of steam and both plotting and writing are feeling a little formulaic. I still enjoyed this one and after all the anticipation and the long wait I was said to get to the end of it.

@LowlyAdjunct@mastodon.social I can see the argument for some people being more tepid about it. How much did this move the plot forward overall? Perhaps not massively, and it could just be setting the table for the next book. But, for me, the struggle has to be drawn out, both internally and externally. This one did so and I'm not eager for it all to end. 😉
