yeah, the president and literally everyone with enough power to manipulate power are child rapists being strung along by voluntary honeypotting by the single most unethical intelligence agency in the world.
but if you stare long into the abyss, the abyss stares back. I think Terry Davis had it right, hard as it has been to break eye contact with that abyss: you do the work you need to do, and you will feel good about it. Everything else, now back in my own words, is just sophistry. What the fuck can I do about a child rapist with the entire US Marine Corps on speed-dial to open fucking doors for him, let alone be his standing guard? Bitch on a street-corner at people who just want to get to work? No; I can only take power away from the pathological monsters by paying them no mind, and minding my own business until my business allows me to exist independently of whatever shit the rapists are doing. And if they come with guns, it will be a glorious self-defense. If others wish to join in self-defense for their own or their family’s interest, I would trust but verify, and gladly fight alongside. But no superpower is overcome by narrow, watered-down modernist protesting and petitioning. It comes with making something, doing something indispensable. It comes with relationships that are productive in the literal sense.
Or at least, that’s what I think. Maybe I just got old and tired and all of that is fucking cope; the brain is a fucked-up little thing.
