@beccadax@soincredibly.gay the orville has the android isaac, who a lot of the characters anthropomorphize and project onto. heck, dr finn even dates it while a bunch of other characters are like "wtf, it's an unfeeling AI that doesn't see the point of biological life" and it causes a big divide in the crew
