These surfaces were both made with boundary curves. One was created in #b3d using #SurfacePsycho, the other in #FreeCAD with the Curves workbench using a Gordon surface. The #Blender one is simpler and matches the input curves perfectly, while the other has CVs high density #CAD Keep it simple... EDIT: But if you use the FreeCAD Surface Workbench is the same as in Blender.
