Well, first off, it strikes me as wild that there are apparently people going around giving long-winded crits to complete strangers? I mean, Rule One of crit for long as I've been an artist has always been Don't Give Unsolicited Criticism. A) It's rude, B) Who the fuck are you supposed to be, and C) Why would I listen to you anyway?
Like, the first thing I want out of a critique is that I know you, and I know what you're saying can be trusted. Following bad artistic advice can really fuck you up -- the only thing more useless than an artist who constantly second guesses themselves is an artist that does it with *someone else's* creative compass.

@CactuarJoe@retro.pizza Hey hey absolutely in tune with this. I guess consent is not something that everyone takes very seriously... even in the art fields Also, It's a pity that lots of teachers in arts schools actually have no idea as to how to give proper constructive criticism/reflection on the works and they end up just giving unsolicited advice anyway, I love your art.
