@YakyuNightOwl@mastodon.world Someone wrote a blog post several years ago that talked about a television actor who played the father on a popular show who brutally assaulted her as a young woman. Widely believed to be Waite.

@dnkboston@apobangpo.space That would be more than disappointing. Waite battled with alcoholism for a long time after the death of his daughter in 1964, but that's the first time I've heard that rumor. Stephen Collins definitely belongs on the bad dad list.
